The Blues Kitchen

This blues-jamming bourbon-filled BBQ-tastic institution drags you into the party mood come rain or shine. It doesn’t matter what the weather is and it doesn’t matter what the day is. At The Blues Kitchen it’s allllll the same. And that means banging cocktails and the warm embrace of amazing BBQ food. Extra kudos to the staff who all seem to be the life of the party, you can’t help but want to join in. Plus once the live music starts the blues tunes will make you want to stick around all night long.

There are 3 awesome venues in Shoreditch, Brixton &, our personal favourite, Camden. And at The Blues Kitchen food is king. The Buffalo Cauliflower packs a punch and just as much flavour, the Cajun Popcorn Squid is so moorish, and the Smashed Avocado Tostadas is so fresh. Not to mention the Hot Spinach & Aubergine Dip that we could eat all day long. But here it’s all about the meats. Yes the Bacon Double Smashburger is one helluva burger. Yes the Philly Cheese Steak was exceptional. However nothing comes close to the Smoked Baby Back Ribs. Ooooh mama. A full rack of ribs, falling off the bone, with a siracha honey glaze, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Tip of the week: Bring an appetite as we’re not far off Man vs Food territory here and you’ll be loathe to leave anything on your plate at the end ;)
