We’ve been to a fair few Italian restaurants in our time but we’ve never been blown away by every single different course in one sitting. The sharing plates, the pasta dishes, the desserts. You will always find that restaurants excel at one thing in particular. Not here. Every dish was excellent. The duck liver parfait. The house-made ricotta with oven-roasted stone-fruit. The fazzoletti duck ragu. All the desserts. Even their wild-farmed focaccia. C’mon now, give everyone else a chance.

And the staff are obviously loving life there - they are charming, cheerful and can’t stop talking about their favourite dishes on the menu. A great sign.If there is one place in town right now where you can guarantee yourself an amazing meal, this is it. You can tell the word of mouth has now gotten around too based on the queues around the block when we were leaving. This is definitely one to book in advance ;)
