Football: Designing The Beautiful Game

The Design Museum’s latest fantastic exhibition follows the story of football from its very first days when kids were just kicking an animal bladder around a field to the commercial monster that it is now. Here at The London 100 we have many differing loves of football from Liverpool to Manchester United to I-only-watch-football-when-I-can-put-a-bet-down. But this exhibition will have something for everyone.

.

Go in depth into the largest stadiums in the world and the influence modern architecture is having right now. Discover the evolution in the design of the kits, the badges (what are you doing Juve?), the boots and the football itself. Re-live some of your favourite World Cups (cough cough 1994), watch a documentary about the legend that is Zidane, and immerse yourself in the passion and obsession of the fans at the Maracana. The Design Museum knocking it out of the park once more.
